Boston terrier  BUDDY

 

BUDDY is OOAK. He has been entirely designed and hand crafted by myself in a smoke free house. Many hours of patient work have gone into the conception and creation of this puppy.

 

MEASURES: 14.5 inches (about  37 cm) from nose tip to rear end. 

 

MATERIALS: Schulte alpaca. Polyfil for the stuffing, with an addition of enclosed glass granulate for added  weight. Glass eyes.

 

FEATURES: Buddy has a lightweight Fimo clay sculpted head on which fur has been firmly attached. His eyes are transparent glass cabochons that I hand painted in tones of deep brown and black. Both ears have an internal wire which enables to gently fold them. His paws have been sculpted from Fimo clay and layer painted, for a very realistic effect. The claws are of strong epoxy clay. Extensive shading has been made to head and body, to bring out the typical Boston terrier features. 

 

JOINTING and POSING: Buddy’s body has been designed with no joints. All four limbs are a whole with the body. He has an internal padded wire frame that goes from head to back, and from there to all four legs. Thanks to these features Buddy can be arranged in many different and realistic positions. His limbs can be delicately curved to give them a natural pose.

 

Buddy owns an embroidered felt coat also created by myself. As he won't need the coat now I have made it removable...it will come handy in the winter! :-)

 

As with all my creations, Buddy comes to you with a specially embroidered felt birth certificate made in matching style and materials. 

BUDDY is a collector item not suitable for children. This creation is meant for display and not as a toy.
