FROST the kitten

 

FROST is OOAK. He has been entirely designed and hand sewn by myself, in a smoke free environment. Many hours of patient work have gone into the conception and crafting of this cat. 

 

MEASURES: 23cm (about 9 inches) from nose tip to rear.

 

MATERIALS: high quality faux fur. Ultra suede for inner ears. Horse hair for the whiskers. Sheep wool for the stuffing, with an addition of enclosed glass granulate for added weight.

 

FEATURES: Frost has a needle felted face. His eyes are of transparent German glass that I hand painted in tones of blue for a realistic effect. Extensive scissor sculpting and shading were done to his face, body and legs. Paw pads and nose have been sculped with Apoxie clay, layer painted and firmly attached, for a very realistic effect.

 

JOINTING and POSING: Front legs are a whole with the body, and internally wired. Back legs are cotter pin jointed and have a metal wiring. The tail is also wired, and the head is connected to the body with a flexible ‘spine’. Thanks to these features Frost can be arranged in many different and realistic positions. He can sit, lay, look up down or sideways. Front and back legs can be partially folded and look very natural and real.

 

I have made a felt ‘cat mat’ for Frost.
As with all my creations, Frost comes to you with a specially embroidered felt birth certificate. 

FROST is a collector item not suitable for children. This creation is meant for display and not as a toy.
