Maine coon cat LUCIFER 

 

LUCIFER is OOAK. He has been entirely designed and hand sewn by myself, in a smoke free environment. Many hours of patient work have gone into the conception and crafting of this cat. 

 

MEASURES: 30 cm (about 12 inches) from nose tip to rear.

 

MATERIALS: 60mm pile quality faux fur, grey with a frosted tip. Ultra suede for inner ears and paw pads. Horse hair for the whiskers. Sheep wool for the stuffing, with an addition of enclosed white granulate for added weight.

 

FEATURES: Lucifer has a needle felted face. His eyes are of transparent German glass that I hand painted in tones of green and gold for a realistic effect. His nose is needle felted sealed and layer painted. Extensive scissor sculpting and shading were done to his face and body.

 

JOINTING and POSING: all four legs are cotter pin jointed and have a metal wiring. The tail is also wired, and the head is connected to the body with a flexible ‘spine’. Thanks to these features Lucifer can be arranged in many different and realistic positions. 

 

I have made an embroidered felt toy ball for Lucifer, he loves to play with it!
As with all my creations, Lucifer will come to you with a specially embroidered felt birth certificate. 

LUCIFER is a collector item not suitable for children. This creation is meant for display and not as a toy.
