Skunk NANCY

 

Skunk NANCY is OOAK. She has been entirely designed and hand sewn by myself, in a smoke free environment. Many hours of patient work have gone into the conception and crafting of this cute animal.

MEASURES: 12 inches (about 30 cm)from nose tip to rear end. The tail measures 19 inches (about 48 cm).

MATERIALS: I have used a combination of luxury faux furs and Schulte alpaca fur. Sheep wool for the stuffing, with an addition of enclosed glass granulate for added weight. Synthetic strands for the whiskers.

FEATURES: skunk Nancy has a needle felted face. Her eyes are of black German glass. Her paws, claws and nose have been sculpted out of Apoxie clay and layer painted for a very realistic effect.

JOINTING and POSING: skunk Nancy’s body has been designed with no joints. All four limbs are a whole with the body. She has an internal padded wire frame that goes from her head to her back, and from there to all four legs. Her long tail is also wired.
Thanks to these features she can stand perfectly balanced on all fours, and can be also arranged in many different and realistic positions. Her arms can be delicately curved to give them a natural pose. Nancy can sit, lay, look up down or sideways.

I have made her an embroidered felt flower wreath, and a felt butterfly, which can be arranged in many fun ways.
As with all my creations, skunk Nancy comes to you with a specially embroidered felt birth certificate made in matching style and materials.

 

NANCY is a collector item not suitable for children. This creation is meant for display and not as a toy.
