OTTO

 

OTTO is OOAK. He has been entirely designed and hand crafted by myself in a smoke free house. Many hours of patient work have gone into the conception and creation of this puppy.

 

MEASURES: 18 inches (about  46 cm) from nose tip to rear end. 

 

MATERIALS: Schulte tan mohair and black alpaca fur. Polyfil for the stuffing, with an addition of enclosed mineral granules for added  weight. Glass eyes. Head, paw pads and claws are made with lightweight polymer clay and Apoxie clay.

 

FEATURES: Otto has a lightweight clay sculpted head on which fur has been firmly attached. The head has been scissor sculpted and hand painted to render a realistic doxie face. His eyes are transparent glass cabochons that I hand painted in tones of black and dark brown. Paw pads have been sculpted from clay and layer painted, for a very realistic effect. The claws are individually hand modeled and firmly attached to the paws.

 

JOINTING and POSING: Otto’s body has been designed with no joints. All four limbs are a whole with the body. He has an internal padded wire frame that goes from head to back, and from there to all four legs. Tail and ears are also wired. Thanks to these features otto can be arranged in many different and realistic positions. His paws can be delicately curved to give them a natural pose.

 

OTTO owns an embroidered felt mat also sewn by myself.

As with all my creations, he will come to you with a specially embroidered felt birth certificate made in matching style and materials.
