TORQUATO the badger

 

Torquato is OOAK. He has been entirely designed and hand crafted by myself in a smoke free house. Many hours of patient work have gone into the conception and creation of this badger.

MEASURES:  18 inches (about 45 cm) from ear tips to bottom. 

MATERIALS: high quality faux fur. Polyfil for the stuffing, with an addition of enclosed mineral granulate for added weight. Glass eyes.

FEATURES: Torquato has a lightweight polymer clay sculpted head on which fur has been firmly attached. His paw pads have been modeled from tinted silicon. Extensive shading has been done to body and face.

JOINTING and POSING: Torquato's body has been designed with no joints. All four limbs are a whole with the body. He has an internal padded wire frame that goes from head to back, and from there to all four legs. The tail is also wired. Thanks to these features he can be arranged in many different and realistic positions. His paws can be delicately curved to give them a natural pose.

Torquato loves to ramble in search for flowers and branches to decorate his lair...and he found something for each season of the year: a tulip for Spring, poppies for the Summer, a chrysanthemum for Fall and a holly branch for the Winter!
All items were also designed and hand crafted by me and are included in the adoption fee.

As with all my creations, Torquato comes to you with an embroidered felt birth certificate. 

Torquato is a collector item not suitable for children. This creation is meant for display and not as a toy.
